Haribo Expands Production Facility in Castleford with New LV Cable Installation

Haribo has commenced construction of a new £35 million, purpose-built warehouse at its Castleford, West Yorkshire, production site. Designed to meet increasing demand and facilitate future growth, the new facility will connect to the existing factory via an overhead conveyor, forming part of a broader investment that includes new production and packaging lines.

JHCS was delighted to support Haribo’s ongoing growth by delivering a key electrical infrastructure upgrade at their Castleford facility. Our team undertook a high-level LV cable installation at a height of 15 metres, utilising electric MEWPs and a diesel winch for safe and efficient installation. We also completed all glanding and terminating work, ensuring a professional and reliable connection.

This project is part of Haribo’s facility expansion, helping them to boost production capacity and maintain their high standards of quality. We’re proud to contribute to such an iconic brand’s continued success with our expertise in complex cable installations.
