Mossley Hill Hospital Liverpool – Full LV Power Installation

Mossley Hill Hospital in Liverpool is undergoing a significant redevelopment into a modern, 80-bed mental health facility. The new development aims to replace outdated dormitory-style accommodations with single bedrooms featuring en-suite bathrooms, prioritising patient privacy and dignity. It will also include therapeutic environments, family visiting areas, and access to safe green spaces. This project is part of Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust’s initiative to modernise mental health care facilities across the city.

JHCS was proud to work for our valued client, A&B Engineering, on this important project. We successfully delivered a comprehensive LV power installation as part of the redevelopment. Our team was responsible for the complete installation of the LV power system, including the setup of the main panel, gland work, and terminations.

Throughout the project, we installed and terminated approximately 8,000 meters of cable, ensuring adherence to all safety, quality, and technical standards. The work involved connecting various hospital electrical systems efficiently and reliably to support the new healthcare environment.

This project highlights JHCS’s expertise in delivering complex electrical installations in sensitive healthcare settings, demonstrating our commitment to supporting essential infrastructure development.
